Hi everyone! Today, students worked on refining their cases in lab. In preparation for the upcoming tournament, students refined their cases that they prepared yesterday, sometimes preparing entirely new contentions or replacing their evidence with more qualified sources.
After refining and preparing new cases, students debated with these cases. Students gained a unique new perspective by debating with lab assistants, who had several years of high school debate experience! This sharpened their decision making and allowed them to observe persuasive speaking.
After another day of work, students will get ready to debate in an intra-lab tournament!
