Hi everyone! As the days count down and we approach the Lexington Debate Institute tournament, the hours get busier and the students start working harder. Today, we had a series of debates between the three teams in our lab. Everyone debated one another, and received feedback from the instructors who were judging. While students took a break from debating, they continued to do research, cutting cards and flowing their lab-mates while they debated.
After taking a break for lunch, we met to discuss strategy. Students had the option to practice making responses to their lab-mates, as they would likely debate them in the tournament tomorrow. Following the debate before lunch, students held two more debates throughout the afternoon.
Make sure you're all well rested, and technology is charged tomorrow, as the tournament begins!
