The Summer Institute
The Summer Institute is a one to two week debate camp that emphasizes research skills, critical thinking, and public speaking. Campers will have the opportunity to research, write cases, and have full practice debates. In the second week, there will be an onsite tournament for the kids to participate in and learn from! Sessions will run through all of July and the first two weeks of August and be hosted at Lexington High School. This two week program will allow us to go in depth into reasoning skills, hone philosophical knowledge and allow us to have many practice debates with feedback from our qualified judges.

n each session, experienced students will enjoy an advanced curriculum with high school-level theory, argumentative techniques, and additional debates.

We will follow Massachusetts Department of Health guidelines, exceeding CDC standards. The safety of our program hinges on adherence to these guidelines. Our commitment to health comes first, and we will revise logistics if necessary to maintain student safety.

Information Sessions
Though we heartily recommend our Institute, we understand the gravity of the decision for how your child spends their time. That's why we'll be hosting multiple information sessions in the coming months, so you and your child have a chance to see what the Institute would be like, and make sure it is the right choice for you. We won't be able to get into the depth of instruction that we'll guarantee over the spring, but hopefully it will help you and your child get an idea of what we aim to achieve by the end of the Institute.
